Shift Information

This position will work a 10-hour shift Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday. Weekends will be required on a rotating basis.

About the Job

A Manufacturing Technician III provides customer-oriented service and support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Performs maintenance on manufacturing equipment including Washers, Autoclaves, Centrifuge, Bioreactors, Tanks, pumps, and other production equipment at our BioSite location. Solid understanding of manufacturing systems required, including mechanical, electrical, and control principles.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with Responsible Engineers and Manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot equipment problems.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems and work with outside vendors.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintain maintenance and repair logbooks.
Work independently and with general supervision.
Navigate in a CMMS system and close out work orders.
Perform small projects as directed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech environment OR
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
Experience with maintaining and repairing pharmaceutical and biotech equipment.
Occasionally climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces, lifting equipment up to 50 lbs., and working in clean spaces.
Ability to stand for up to 3 hours at a time.
Preferred knowledge and usage of hand and power tools, CMMS system, Lock-Out Tag-Out.
