Summary:

Radiologic Technologist needed to perform a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures. Support to other imaging technologists required. Flexibility to work in different locations. Must troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and address image processing and archiving system issues. Communication skills should align with organization's values.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.

• Conducts diagnostic procedures, including complex ones, with proper technique and patient instructions.

• Evaluates patient for contrast history and contra-indications.

• Follows established protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinates procedures to prioritize patient care and continuity.

• Willingness to rotate within departments for coverage.

• Assists in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures.

• Maintains exam room cleanliness and compliance with Infection Control standards.

• Ensures accurate coding and charges.

• Adapts to patient needs effectively.

• Maintains patient confidentiality.

• Demonstrates adherence to CHRISTUS Health Care values.

• Performs assigned duties and additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology school or equivalent.
1-3 years of hospital experience preferred.
Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Current state licensure.
Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
