Summary:
As a **Radiologic Technologist** at our organization, you will be responsible for performing a wide array of routine and advanced imaging procedures. Additionally, you'll provide assistance to other imaging technologists when necessary and may work in various locations.

Furthermore, you'll need to troubleshoot basic maintenance issues, participate in QA activities, and address problems related to image processing and the image archiving system. It's crucial that your behavior and communication skills align with our organization's mission, values, and culture.

Responsibilities:
- Meet the expectations of the applicable **OneCHRISTUS Competencies**: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders

- Conduct a variety of diagnostic procedures, including some complex ones, with proper technique and provide appropriate procedural instructions to patients.

- Assess patients for clinical contrast history and potential contra-indications. Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

- Interact effectively with patients and all care providers by coordinating and prioritizing procedures throughout the workday to ensure a high level of patient care and continuity.

- Be willing to rotate within departments and clinics as necessary for adequate coverage. Assist Radiologists or other medical professionals in invasive procedures using specialized equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, ensuring they are adequately stocked before procedures and complying with Infection Control standards.

- Ensure all charges are accurately coded and entered.

- Adapt appropriately to each patient's unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs during assessments, treatments, and care.

- Conduct all duties in a manner that upholds patient confidentiality and does not disclose any confidential information unless necessary for assigned job duties.

- Demonstrate adherence to the Core values of **CHRISTUS Health Care**. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an equivalent program is required.

- 1-3 years of hospital experience is preferred.

- Current registration with **The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists** is mandatory (Temporary permit required for new graduates).

- Active state licensure is essential.

- Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification is required.
