Responsibilities:

Fulfilling the role of a safety officer according to UVV guidelines
Creating an annual report on safetyrelated incidents, disruptions, and accidents with suitable suggestions
Reporting accidents and promptly informing the employers' liability insurance association, management, and works council
Conducting risk assessments, creating operating instructions, and training materials
Organizing and monitoring all loading preparation, packaging, and loading activities
Timely provision of all necessary packaging materials
Providing safe lifting equipment and regularly checking and supplementing them, e.g. ropes
Timely informing the export department about the collidates. Accurate labeling of individual collis
Organizing and procuring external packaging if necessary
Checking and approving transport devices in cooperation with our technical offices
Safely rigging and handling machine transport, including necessary positioning on the loading rack in loading position
Timely completion of all maintenance and care tasks at all DORST properties
Responsible for snow and ice removal (winter service)

Qualifications:

Master's degree, technician degree, or equivalent qualification
Knowledge of legal regulations for load securing, hazardous goods transport, and air, road, and sea freight traffic
