    Description
    Our practice is in search of a full-time medical assistant. We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person who is willing to go the extra mile for a patient.

    All candidates must be available Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm to be considered for this position.

    Responsibilities:
    • Interact with patients and visitors in a friendly, positive, caring and cheerful manner.
    • Assisting Physician with clinical procedures.
    • Obtaining vital signs
    • Verify patient information, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit
    • Clean and stock exam rooms/maintain inventory for exam rooms
    • Cross train as a front desk receptionist and be able to perform all duties.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:
    • Dependable
    • Cheerful and outgoing personality.
    • Experience working as a team member in a healthcare environment.
    • Medical office experience.
    • Comfortable administering vaccinations.
    • Excellent organizational skills/ strong attention to detail.
    • Highly motivated to work and a quick learner.
    • Professional appearance.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • EMR experience a PLUS
