- Lead product commercialization projects by utilizing stage gate process, coordinating communication, and managing deliverables across internal cross-functional teams.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, providing risk assessments, updating packaging, marketing assets, websites, GDSNs, etc. and communicating to all internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Lead SKU rationalization and manage product portfolio to ensure profitable brand growth.
- Gather and analyze relevant competitive information, including syndicated sales data, product attributes, distribution, packaging, pricing, and trade promotion to provide actionable insights and identify white space within the category.
- Partner with external agency to execute digital marketing strategies and drive e-commerce sales.
- Lead social strategy, prioritizing Instagram and TikTok.
- Regularly measure and prepare internal reports on key performance indicators and brand health.
- Manage creation of brand assets and marketing materials, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on-time, and on-brand.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to create brand awareness and drive sales during key tentpole moments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to process and express complex issues and ideas effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to establish and maintain collaborative, effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work both independently and also as part of a team.
- Ability to use data analytics to provide insights, build selling stories, and make portfolio recommendations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,).

- 5-7+ years of CPG marketing experience required
- 3+ years of experience in leading cross-functional teams in brand management, product management, or commercialization projects

- Strong experience with syndicated data like SPINS, IRI, and internal sales data

Position Summary
Blue Dog Bakery is looking for an Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team. We are seeking an experienced CPG marketer with a proven track record who is ready to jump in and contribute to a growing mid-size brand. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, new ideas, and a can-do, hands-on approach.
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the commercialization of all new products, as well as optimization and/or rationalization of existing products. This person will also develop and execute brand marketing strategies and manage the creation of brand assets and sales tools.
Note: This is a hybrid role that averages ~ 3 days in the office per week.
