    Job Title: Asset Allocation - Portfolio Management Program Associate

    Position Overview: The Asset Allocation Team at Global Atlantic defines and executes the investment portfolio strategy for the company. This team, working closely with others at the New York Investment Office, manages the $150+ billion general account of Global Atlantic. As a part of the Portfolio Management subgroup within this team, the Program Associate is responsible for various key tasks:

    • Participating in constructing pricing portfolios for new business opportunities
    • Evaluating the impact of new investment strategies on asset-liability management and profitability
    • Collaborating with the Investment Analytics team to develop tools for monitoring investment performance
    • Analyzing existing investment portfolios and proposing trades to enhance asset-liability alignment
    • Coordinating with Risk and Actuarial Teams to assess the effects of regulatory changes on invested assets
    • Preparing investment-related materials for senior leaders, regulators, and potential investors
    • Working with portfolio managers and other teams on strategic projects

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree with exceptional academic standing and 2-5 years of relevant professional experience
    • Experience in financial markets, portfolio construction, and asset management
    • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity in programming languages like Python / SQL being advantageous
    • Understanding of quantitative concepts and fixed income math
    • Familiarity with insurance regulatory requirements considered a plus
    • Energetic, curious, and proactive in taking on impactful projects
    • Highly professional and team-oriented with excellent attention to detail
    • Strong balance of technical and communication skills
    • Progress towards CFA designation seen as beneficial
    • Role not open for visa sponsorship currently or in the future

    COMPENSATION

    Global Atlantic offers a competitive base salary range of $155,000 to $175,000 USD, along with bonuses, long-term incentives, comprehensive benefits, and sales incentives. Compensation is influenced by factors like location, experience, education, and skill level, with final details determined during the offer stage.
