Fort Myers, FL 33905Job SummaryThe Sales Coordinator is responsible for maintaining client relationships and supporting the sales team on property with a focus on group bookings to increase hotel sales revenue goals.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintains positive and professional staff and client relationships; welcomes and greet clients and office guests Enters group room blocks into the appropriate softwareMaintains an accurate inventory of sales collateral and promotional materialsCommunicates with the guest services team and the management team all check-in procedures and room assignments for groups upon their arrival date to ensure contract terms and requests are metCoordinates follow up efforts for future bookings Acts as the onsite contact for daily and weekly meeting room functions ensuring all needs and requirements have been metEnsures accurate and timely bill procedures are in place for meeting functionsAssist potential clients in the absence of the supervisor by giving tours and gathering informationAssist Sales team with administrative tasks as neededAnswers phones in a professional manner and appropriately directs calls Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadershipAssist at front desk when needed to support heavy check in-check out timesAssists with meeting room rental/set upQualificationsAssociate degree or the equivalent in related work experience Ability to operate computer and office equipment Conduct work-related functions in a professional manner
