- Conducting preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure they are operating at peak efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, oil changes, and filter replacements.
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities and reporting any issues to the maintenance supervisor.
- Participating in safety meetings and ensuring that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area and ensuring that tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Assisting with the installation of new equipment and machinery as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces and at heights.
