  • Overview:
  • Reports to Manager of the Workforce Planning Unit (SSM I). The incumbent independently performs a variety of complex analytical assignments and provides full journeylevel support in the areas of workforce planning, succession planning, recruitment, retention, research, reporting, employee engagement, and various other initiatives to advance EDD's Workforce and Succession Plan(s). The incumbent is expected to display exceptional interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills both orally and in writing, and have knowledge of project management, presentation delivery methods, and basic training techniques. Incumbent must have the ability to work under nominal supervision, research and analyze information from multiple sources, and make effective recommendations. The incumbent will be expected to plan, develop, organize, coordinate, conduct and at times leads various components of workforce planning. This includes developing reports, presenting information to departmental leadership, providing workforce demographic data to leaders, and conducting indepth analysis of large workforce datasets and implementing enterprise wide programs related to workforce and succession planning. Incumbent must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software to develop quality reports, materials, and presentations.
