Do you have a passion for helping people and enjoy working with a diverse population? We are seeking an individual who is self-driven, creative, and customer-focused to assist customers and work cooperatively with local partners in the America's Job Center of California (AJCC) and other community-based agencies in the surrounding geographical area.

Position also includes conducting job development activities in local communities to connect employers with qualified applicants, provide exceptional customer service when assisting customers in a self-service environment based upon the regulations mandated through the State of California and the Department of Labor, and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

May be required to stand for up to 8 hours a day and perform presentations to employers and AJCC clients on work search-related topics and to inform EDD Workforce Services customers of AJCC programs and services.


The position exists in Brea, but may be required to work in other Orange County offices, including Anaheim and Santa Ana.

Position may include a monthly $250 geographic recruitment and retention pay differential.

Per the Governor's Office of California, the Employment Development Department is considered an essential department. This position requires local in-person workload, though some telework may be available.

This position's office follows the recommended safety guidance from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Center of Disease Control (CDC).***You will find additional information about the job in the

Customer Service in an office environment. Occasional and overnight travel may be required.
