Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Java Platform Admin to join our team on behalf of our client, a globally leading provider of engineering and technology services. This exciting contracting project offers you the opportunity to contribute your expertise in a dynamic and versatile work environment and work at the forefront of technological innovation.

Project duration: 1 year with possibility of extension

Location: Germany (Remote)

Your mission:

  • Administration and support of web servers such as Jboss, Apache, Tomcat, and IIS.
  • Providing support in the middleware area under UNIX/Linux as well as application support.
  • Configuration and management of web and application servers.
  • Performing troubleshooting and optimizations in LINUX/UNIX operating systems.
  • Integration and management of messaging services such as JDBC, JMS, and MQ.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of Java-based applications (JSP, EJB, XML, Web Services) in close collaboration with the team lead and technical team members.
  • Ensuring operation and support for release implementations on weekends, as well as providing communication outside of regular working hours as needed.
