Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist

Overview of the Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist role:

Manage payroll processing across multiple states
Handle accounts payable functions efficiently
Post transactions to the general ledger accurately
Reconcile bank statements promptly
Prepare and enter journal entries as needed
Handle various tax filings including State Excise Reports, Payroll Taxes, Monthly & Quarterly Taxes

Preferred qualifications for the Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist role:

Minimum of three years of relevant bookkeeping experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Fundamental understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Preferred experience in Accounts Receivable
Proficient in relevant accounting software and MS Excel
