NOTE:
Positions in this job classification may be offered on a 10 or 11
month basis - salary and paid time off for 10 or 11 month positions will be

Job Duties/Responsibilities Please note that the duties for this position will be performed on-site and
in-person.
A Roofer performs journey-level work in the maintenance, repair,
waterproofing and replacement of roof coverings. This may include such
tasks as:
- Repairing and replacing roof coverings such as composition shingles,
place foam.
- Repairs and replaces waterproofing systems.
- Protects roofs by performing routine preventative maintenance and
- Performs simple carpentry and sheet metal work as needed in
- Cleaning drains, leaderheads, gutters, and roof surfaces.
Minimum Requirements EDUCATION:
Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational
proficiency.
EXPERIENCE:
Successful completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in roofing
installation, maintenance, and repair or five (5) years of experience in
roofing installation, maintenance, and repair, one (1) year of which must
have been at the journey-level.
SPECIAL:
- A valid California Driver License.
- Use of an automobile.
- Extensive knowledge about the materials, tools, and practices used in

- Knowledge of applicable safety orders along with Microsoft Word and
