    Soliant is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants to be part of our expanding team in either a part-time or full-time capacity for the upcoming academic year.

    *Applicants should possess an active SLPA license in the State of California*

    Your Role: At our school, we highly value the crucial roles played by both Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) in assisting students with a diverse range of speech-language-related challenges to meet educational standards. Your main responsibilities will revolve around the prevention, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, social, communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in K-12 students, under the guidance of a certified SLP.

    Responsibilities: Your daily duties will involve collaborating with the overseeing Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess and execute personalized treatment plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language-related issues, ensuring appropriate student placements in the Speech-Language Pathologist program, and supporting SLP objectives on IEPs. Additionally, you will schedule students effectively and provide consultation services to educators, parents, administrators, and related organizations to align educational objectives across classroom, other educational initiatives, and home settings.

    • Collaborate with the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language-related disorders to discover and relate pertinent data used in the determination of student needs.
    • Assure the placement of students in the Speech-Language Pathologist program and support SLP objectives on IEPs.
    • Schedule students appropriately and provide consultative services to teachers, parents, admins, and allied agencies to integrate educational goals into the classroom, other educational programs, and the home environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Must possess a bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
    • Must have a California Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) license or eligibility for licensure.

    Preferred:

    • Prior experience working as an SLPA in an educational environment is a plus, although recent graduates will also be considered.
