Training Specialist
Digital Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (DESI) is seeking a Training Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is a Full-time (Regular) Exempt (Salary) position located in Patuxent River, Maryland Telework will be permitted, however, the candidate must be able to visit the customer site at Patuxent River, MD St. Mary's County Maryland) for meetings and trainings approximately 3-4 times per month.

ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct technical workshops and enablement sessions for teams.

Lead workshops on building solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI/dashboards).

Plan, develop, and facilitate training programs focused on IT tools, platforms, and processes.

Create engaging training materials, documentation, and job aids tailored to various technical skill levels.

Serve as a subject matter expert for technical tools and provide hands-on demonstrations.

Deliver training and support for Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) and Microsoft Copilot capabilities.

Support change management initiatives related to new technology rollouts.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices in technical training.
- Provide support to leadership, customers, and other teams.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards and professionalism.
To be considered for this position, you must meet the education and experience listed below:
- High School (HS) diploma or GED is required.
- BA/BS degree and three (3) years of experience performing work related to the roles/responsibilities above -OR- AA/AS and seven (7) years of experience performing work related to the roles/responsibilities above -OR- HS/GED and nine (9) years of experience performing work related to the roles/responsibilities above.
- Degree in Education/Training or Information Technology discipline is preferred.
- Degree's must be from a US Department of Education accredited institution to count towards substitution.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform Suite of tools.
- Experience with implementing training plans among diverse audience.
- Experience in conducting technical workshops and technical training.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- US Citizenship is required due to US government contract requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance (interim required to start).
Candidates with experience or knowledge in these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with SharePoint Online.
- Active SECRET clearance.
The compensation range is based on industry compensation data and/or position budget and reflects our commitment to transparency and fairness:
- The annual compensation range is $65,000 to $85,000, commensurate with education and experience.
- Other compensation may include discretionary bonuses, referral rewards, and spot awards.
