Description
The Purchasing Storeroom/Delivery Clerk is responsible for the safe and timely distribution and pick-up of goods throughout property. Receives, logs and organizes incoming shipments in the Purchasing Warehouse.Loads and unloads items on trucks, carts and other transportation equipment; conducts inventory of items entering and leaving the storeroom.
Constantly monitors the physical appearance and organization of the Purchasing Warehouse. Plays an active role in assuring the quality and careful handling of products.Essential:
Minimum one (1) year experience in high volume delivery and storeroom operations or similar experience.-Ability to speak, read, and write in English.-Ability to fulfill requisitions.-Ability to perform basic arithmetic including use of percentages.-Experience in maintaining filing system and logs.-Valid Driver's License.(should we specify CA, or a Valid license-Strong team player.
Desirable:
Experience in guest service or customer relations.-ForkLift Certified-Ability to speak read and write in the English language.-Experience at a luxury property.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Store, rotate and distribute all food, beverage, and general product based on a first in, first out basis.-Organize stockrooms: stocking shelves, rotating all food items and date items coming into the stockroom.-Expedite all food, beverage and general storeroom requisitions completely and accurately.-Check on quality and quantity of products being stored.-Accurately record all food temperatures.-Deliver filled requisitions.-Control the utilization and retrieval of all storeroom product handling equipment.-Break down partial cases for stocking and dating accordingly.-Assist the Storeroom Operations Manager in taking inventories.-Observe sanitation requirements as defined by HACCP standards-Adhere to storeroom-operation procedures according to policy and standards established.-Maintain record log of all incoming general supplies for individual departments requiring associate signature.-Maintain Purchasing Warehouse and work areas neat and clean at all times.-Ensure products and equipment are handled or operated exclusively by authorized OVI associates.-Ensure proper security and accessibility to the storerooms.-Pick up trash receptacles from property and transport to trash compactor; dispose of trash and recyclables.
