    Description


    We are currently seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master for a long-term project based in New York, NY (Remote position until COVID situation improves).

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure customer satisfaction is the top priority
    • Guide the team on Agile/Scrum practices and values
    • Help the team achieve maximum self-organization
    • Assess team's Scrum Maturity and coach them to higher levels
    • Remove impediments and create a safe environment for issue resolution
    • Facilitate transparent communication and information sharing
    • Support the Product Owner in backlog management
    • Provide servant leadership and lead by example

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)
    • Minimum of one year experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team
    • Good understanding of servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and empowerment
    • Knowledge of various Scrum techniques and patterns

    Preferred Skills/Experience (Any of these is a plus):

    • Second level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II)
    • Minimum of two years experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team
    • Strong communication and mentoring abilities
