- Design, develop, and validate control systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, adhering to GAMP guidelines and regulatory
- requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to understand project requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
- Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting, both remotely and
- onsite.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on installed control
- systems.
- Travel to Scientific Products facilities and customer sites for project installations, commissioning, and ongoing support.
- Independently manage assigned projects and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including software change requests, IO lists, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in control system technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience in programming and configuring Allen Bradley PLCs,
- FactoryTalk View ME, SCADA systems, servo motors and drives, and VFDs.
- Strong understanding of control system design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel extensively (40-50%) to customer sites nationwide.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- The successful candidate will initially work full-time at a customer site in the Raleigh-
- Durham area to complete a project expected to last until the end of January 2025.
- Following this project, the candidate will continue to work on various ATS Scientific
- Products controls projects, with occasional travel required to our Warminster, PA
- facility or other customer sites needing SP controls support.
