Electrical Controls Engineer
ATS Scientific Productsis seeking a highly skilledControls Engineerto join our team.
This remote position, based in the Raleigh-Durham area, entails significant travel (40-50% of the time) to our Warminster, PA facility and various customer sites. Key Responsibilities
+ Design, develop, and validate control systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, adhering to GAMP guidelines and regulatory
+ requirements.
+ Collaborate with internal teams and customers to understand project requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
+ Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting, both remotely and
+ onsite.
+ Provide technical support and training to customers on installed control
+ systems.
+ Travel to Scientific Products facilities and customer sites for project installations, commissioning, and ongoing support.
+ Independently manage assigned projects and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
+ Develop and maintain documentation, including software change requests, IO lists, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
+ Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in control system technologies.
Qualifications
+ Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field.
+ Extensive experience in programming and configuring Allen Bradley PLCs,
+ FactoryTalk View ME, SCADA systems, servo motors and drives, and VFDs.
+ Strong understanding of control system design principles and methodologies.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
+ Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Willingness to travel extensively (40-50%) to customer sites nationwide.
+ Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Additional Information
+ The successful candidate will initially work full-time at a customer site in the Raleigh-
+ Durham area to complete a project expected to last until the end of January 2025.
+ Following this project, the candidate will continue to work on various ATS Scientific
+ Products controls projects, with occasional travel required to our Warminster, PA
+ facility or other customer sites needing SP controls support.
