Description
Any combination equivalent to:
Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited institution and at least two years experience as a Registered Nurse in a medical setting or in school-site nursing.
Experience with children with special needs desired.Licenses and Other Requirements:
State License as a Registered Nurse.
Preliminary or Professional Clear School Nurse Services Credential or Standard Designated Services Credential with specialization in Health or Health and Development Credential or Health Services:
School Nurse Credential. Audiometric Testing Credential. Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license. Incumbents must be insurable by the liability carrier for the County Office of Education. The successful candidate must be cleared by the Department of Justice prior to employment as required by law.
