We are looking for a specialist for occupational safety (m/f/d) to join our team.

Your main responsibilities:
✓ Responsibility for occupational safety (with appointment) for Feralpi Stahl in Riesa and supervision of external companies
✓ Co-responsibility for fire and explosion protection at the Riesa site as a fire protection officer, coordination of company fire safety officers
✓ Ensuring compliance with legal regulations, primarily accident prevention and fire protection regulations
✓ Collaboration with employers' liability insurance associations, authorities, insurance companies, fire department, company doctor
✓ Support of the emission control and radiation protection officer in approval procedures according to the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and implementation of the Radiation Protection Ordinance
✓ Maintenance of statistics/databases and document control, including IMS database or SAP, accident statistics, fire protection register, SAMAS, among others
✓ Preparation of written instructions and guidelines including fire protection, explosion protection, and planning of occupational safety training, participation in training for appointed/authorized persons
✓ Planning and conducting training, safety briefings, workplace and fire safety inspections, as well as risk assessments
