    In this junior leadership role, you will be responsible for assisting in the direction of proper workflow of product through the assigned area.

    You will be utilizing both equipment and personnel in the most efficient manner, while meeting or exceeding daily production requirements.

    We expect our Production Leads to be able to guide by example, work independently and ensure good work attitudes, atmosphere, and communication to maximize productivity.

    Check us out, Requirements Working knowledge of production processes with the ability to "fill-in" on each piece of equipment or meet the necessity of the assigned area.

    Has the skills necessary to solve minor production issuesLeads a team of employees in a technical, fast paced, deadline driven environment that emphasizes qualityAssesses skills and knowledge, addressing gaps where applicable, of team members and allocates them to meet customer needs dailyMaintain and coordinate with Materials team supplies levels and inventoryPartner with technical maintenance team to ensure equipment is periodically maintained and operating as designedRecognizing the necessity to design, implement and evaluate new procedures.

    Able to effectively lead changeExpedites orders throughout the plant to ensure customer orders are met in a timely manner while ensuring quality and safe working practicesInstilling a sense of urgency and desire to maximize output on the production floor wherever the opportunity arises, while monitoring productivitySupports the compliance with, and the maintenance of, safety requirements in accordance with company policies and/or federal/state lawsIdentifies, coaches and develops team members through training, performance reviews, coaching, support and delegation as appropriate for their development levelEstablishes an environment that is conducive to collaboration and teamwork, promotes positive employee relations and takes steps to prevent or diffuse conflictsImplements and follows policies and procedures consistently and according to company standardsResponsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environmentProduction Leads partner with the following departments:

    Printing, Finishing, Shipping, Technical and ManagementRequired Skills & QualificationsFlexible, assertive, team player who is willing to help out wherever needed to achieve company goals1-3 years leadership experience in a manufacturing or fast paced work environmentAbility to maintain good attendance and always leads by exampleGood interpersonal skills including the ability to build relationships at various levelsEffective oral and written communication skills.

    Must be familiar with MS Word, Excel and other Microsoft programs.

    Quick learner and self-motivatedAbility to work as needed, particularly during high volume periods, to ensure that departmental objectives are accomplishedWorking ConditionsSignificant walking, bending, and standingPhysical activities including but not limited to reaching, pulling, pushing, gripping, grabbing, and must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
