Role and Responsibilities:


The Customer Service Representative supports sales staff in maintaining and cultivating relationships, processing quotes and orders, and ensuring sales information is entered into the ERP/CRM systems timely and accurately.

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with customers and vendors. Document communications within CRM.
  • Ensure project quotes or proposals are processed within the CRM in a timely manner while being professional, accurate and meet customer specifications.
  • Maintain active communications with customers and coworkers regarding sales opportunities and status reports.
  • Answer customer and vendor phone calls with professionalism. Direct their call to the appropriate salesperson as needed.
  • Verify customerapproved quotes are signed are accompanied with company terms and conditions.
  • Verify orders are processed timely and accurately within the ERP system.
  • Understanding and being familiar with fabricated ductile iron and pump product components, coatings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Assist in multiple behindthescenes sales functions such as answering sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions, and helping customers by recommending the best products and solutions to support their needs.
  • Works with team to provide outstanding customer service for both existing and prospective customers.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:


  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience and willingness to learn and receive instructions.
  • Associate's degree preferred. Adequate work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Preferred Skills:


  • Familiarity of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with ERP Software.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Punctual, reliable, and cooperative with others.

Additional Notes:


  • Preemployment drug testing shall be required.
  • All applicants shall be authorized to work in the U.S.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • After 30 days of employment, employee is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, vision, sick pay, vacation accruals, and 401(k). Sick pay and vacation accrual begin once employed.
