    Danielle Owen: Financial Advisor
    • Prior Experience: Danielle spent over a decade as an environmental engineer before joining Northwestern Mutual. Seeking greater autonomy and equal treatment regardless of gender, she found a welcoming environment within the company.
    • Time with the Local Team: 3 years.
    • Outside of the Office: Danielle loves fitness, spending time outdoors with her dog Tuffy, Yoga & stand up paddle-boarding.
    Noah Jones: Financial Advisor
    • Previous Role: Having worked in the financial industry at various firms, he sought a place where he could make a difference in the African American marketplace. Desiring a home where leadership values collaboration and listens to advisors, he found his fit.
    • Time with Local Team: Approximately 2 years.
    • Outside of Work: Noah's passions include being a dedicated father to his two boys and a loving husband. He has a deep love for sports, particularly basketball, and brings his college football experiences into his leisure time. Noah also enjoys exploring the culinary world as a self-proclaimed foodie.
    About Boston Native, Jay DeMarzo, Boston Office Managing Director: With a passion for financial planning and a commitment to personal and professional growth, Jay DeMarzo has become a prominent figure in the industry. Since joining Northwestern Mutual, Jay has embraced the opportunity to foster innovation and challenge conventional thinking. Dissatisfied with the cultural and performance direction of prior affiliations, he sought a dynamic environment where new ideas were not only welcomed but expected and found a home at Northwestern Mutual.

    Jay's dedication to his clients and team members goes beyond professional advice; he and his wife, Abby, actively practice the financial principles they advocate. Married since 2009, Jay and Abby, a small business owner with a mental health counseling practice in Hanover, embody a holistic approach to life. They navigate the parenting journey with their two boys, William and Benjamin, both avid year-round baseball players, with William also excelling in cross country and track. Their French Bulldog, Pogey, completes the family picture.

    Away from the world of finance, the DeMarzos find joy in an array of activities, from hiking and skiing to fishing and beach outings. Their commitment to community and church involvement, coupled with a shared love for reading, paints a vibrant portrait of a family deeply engaged in both professional and personal spheres. Through hard work and a penchant for innovation, Jay aims to not only succeed but also to find fulfillment and enjoyment in every aspect of life.
