Description
As a Stockroom Utility Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our stockroom.

You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring proper storage of materials, and supporting the overall logistics of the stockroom.

Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help us maintain high standards of operation and customer service.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
  • Accurately pick and pack items for orders and production.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure stockroom areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Assist in loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries.
  • Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or issues to management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment is preferred.
  • Forklift certification or the willingness to obtain certification.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract


Pay:
$ $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
