We are looking for a Loss Control Specialist to join our team

This position will work in the New Jersey, New York City Metropolitan areas.
The Loss Control Specialist will survey an assigned list of light to moderate hazard properties, including habitational, offices, stores, and restaurants.
All Loss Control staff at The Andover Companies work in an assigned area, and on occasion, will be asked to travel to other territories to work as workloads dictate.
Requirements:
Valid US Driver's license
Excellent Communication Skills
Good knowledge of computers and other electronic devices, including Microsoft office products
Ability to work in an autonomous environment which includes managing own workload effectively, working independently, making sound decisions based on training and achieved skills
Organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to climb stairs and ladders, walk through both interior and exterior of buildings, work in all types of weather conditions
A background in Fire Safety, Safety, Construction, Electrical, Facility Management, Building Maintenance, Fire Suppression, Fire Alarms, or similar experience is desired
