SUMMARY:


MINIMUM EXPERIENCE and ABILITIES:


Bachelor's degree in a field such as business administration, finance, engineering, construction management or project management and three (3) to five (5) years project controls related experience.

Experience should include the necessary financial, communication and organizational skills necessary to work with engineering department project managers and other departments within the organization.

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite is desirable. Knowledge of working in an enterprise resource management system is desirable.


RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinates with Accounting, Purchasing and Capital Program Coordinator to establish Project Financial Set up and Yearend Closeout.
  • Tracks Project Costs, Modifications, Change Orders and Task Order Assignments from inception to closeout.
  • Tracks and processes Consultant's and Attorney Invoices and Contractor Pay Estimates so they are paid in a timely manner.
  • Monitors Project Progress and coordinates with Project Managers to close out completed contracts.
  • Coordinates the Project Accounting Information with Engineering Department's Capital Program Coordinator.
  • Coordinates Project Accounting Information with the Commission's Accounting Department.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This job has no supervisory duties.
