Description
One of our largest entertainment clients are looking for a Director of Accounting to join their team. This is a contract position sitting remote in any time zone.In this role, you will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, managing month-end processes, and ensuring accurate reporting.
This person will be overseeing and managing month end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate entries, collaborating with the team during month end close, aligning entries on the same timeline but addressing unique aspects.
You will also be coordinating monthly deliverables and when the general ledger closes, managing deliverables that flow through the team.
This person will be collecting, reviewing, preparing for submission, and respond to questions related to deliverables. This person will also need to handle audit requests.

Required Skills & Experience
-10+ years experience in Accounting/Finance
-8+ years experience managing a team
