    ABOUT THE ROLE

    As an Executive Chef, your main aim is to surpass company financial goals while upholding a positive work environment, maintaining high product quality, cleanliness, productivity, and efficient use of company resources. In this role, you will lead and support the daily operations of the assigned restaurant through delegation and the development of culinary managers and teams.

    TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST

    • Deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests that leaves a lasting impression.
    • Provide guidance, delegate tasks, and have full confidence in your culinary team to complete prep work, adhere to recipe standards, and maintain cleanliness.
    • Be a pro at managing inventory.
    • Ensure product quality and safety across all production, storage, and presentation processes.
    • Be meticulous about financial accuracy in sales, expenses, and inventory.
    • Mentor and foster leadership skills within your team.
    • Empower your team to make decisions that enhance trust and yield optimal outcomes.
    • Ensure a top-notch shift with well-trained staff who understand their roles.
    • Clearly communicate development opportunities and responsibilities to your team.
    • Keep detailed records to ensure accountability for your team's performance.

    Requirements:

    • At least 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Manager in a full-service restaurant or 3-5 years of management experience in the service industry. Internal candidates must have a clean performance record within the last year. Equivalent work experience and education will be taken into account.
    • Preference for an Associate's degree in Culinary, Hospitality, Management, or Business.
    • Mandatory State Food Handler's Management Certification.
