    Job Title:
    CNC Machinist Apprentice


    Department:
    Machine Shop

    Position Type:
    Full-time 6:30AM – 3:00 PM (30-minute lunch 11:30-12:00pm)

    Reports To:
    Shop Foreman

    $15.00-$25.00 DOE

    Job Description:
    Operate a CNC machine by producing new parts per the work order specifications.


    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Machine Shop
    Below is a list of the basic functions in the department that must be performed daily. Additional functions may be added if necessary.

    • Read drawings and work orders to determine what materials are necessary for the job.
    • Operate and maintain the CNC machine that you're working on that day.
    • This position will be required to make new parts based upon the work order requirements.
    • Once parts are completed, they are to be checked for accuracy before turning into the Quality Control Department.
    • Maintain a clean working environment around the machine and work table.
    • Work with other departments when issues occur.
    Position Requirements

    • Must be detailed orientated.
    • Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task when necessary.
