Rogers Group is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for our East Tennessee Market Area, which is based in Knoxville, TN. This position reports to the Senior Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, intuitive problem-solving skills and the drive to meet our evolving organizational needs.

Responsibilities:

Actively participate in accounting functions of the East Tennessee operations including month-end close, financial analysis, inventory management, and other reporting as required by management.
Perform, summarize, and distribute quantitative analysis of weekly and monthly reports.
Assist in month-end accounting procedures and inventory management.
Assist in creation of annual business plan/forecast.
Manage/model capital expenditure project requests across all business units.
Design and build analysis tools and new reporting as needed using MS Excel and data mining tools.
Perform ad hoc analysis as needed by stakeholders throughout the market area.

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience or relevant internship experience.
Effective communication skills: written and inter-personal.
Technical expertise in Microsoft Office suites (especially Excel).
Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
Effective organizational skills to manage a dynamic workload.
Business analytics/data mining experience preferred.
Power BI experience preferred.
