    New Challenge: Senior Application Developer

    Do you aspire to be part of a larger mission, where your creativity and expertise can drive real change? U.S. Bank is currently seeking a Senior Application Developer with a strong background in design and development to play a pivotal role in our technological advancements. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including business users, IT development, and Architecture groups, to enhance and build complex application systems using cutting-edge technology platforms.

    As a Senior Application Developer at U.S. Bank, you will:

    • Design, code, and test high-risk computer programs
    • Contribute to application architecture and project tasks
    • Propose innovative solutions to enhance core architecture and technology strategies
    • Lead change impact analysis and optimize development processes
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
    • Ensure application performance and efficiency levels through continuous monitoring and optimization

    Basic Qualifications

    - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience - Minimum seven years of experience in application development

    Preferred Skills/Experience

    Experience in:

    • Product and vendor evaluation
    • Information management

    Extensive knowledge of:

    • Data, process, events, and object modeling
    • IT standards, procedures, and policies
    • Change control and release management
    • Application design, architecture, and maintenance
    • Development tools, system testing, and application testing
    • Programming and implementation
