    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist to join our prestigious law firm in New York City. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our finance team, handling all aspects of legal billing and ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing policies. The ideal candidate is proficient in Elite Aderant eBilling Hub or Elite 3E and has a strong understanding of legal billing practices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare, review, and submit client invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Manage eBilling submissions through Elite Aderant eBilling Hub or Elite 3E.
    • Address and resolve billing discrepancies or client inquiries.
    • Collaborate with attorneys and legal teams to ensure billing compliance.
    • Monitor and track billable hours and other billing metrics.
    • Ensure adherence to client billing guidelines and protocols.
    • Maintain and update client billing records and accounts.
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Provide support during audits and reporting.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Legal Billing Specialist, particularly in a law firm setting.
    • Proficiency with Elite Aderant eBilling Hub or Elite 3E is required.
    • Strong understanding of legal billing practices and regulations.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
