    SAP Analytics Architect

    Location:
    National - can be based anywhere in US, but preferably near one of our offices.

    Purpose of Position

    We are actively seeking a seasoned Senior Solution Architect with expertise in SAP Big Data, Datasphere, Data Modelling, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) and Embedded Analytics to join our dynamic team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of innovative solutions leveraging SAP technologies to address complex business challenges.

    You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including clients, developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements and drive business value.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP technologies, extensive experience in architecting data analytics solutions, and a deep understanding of Big Data and analytics principles.



    We are seeking individuals with following skills:

    • 8-10 years of combined SAP, Data and Analytics experience
    • 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics, CDS view customization, Fiori app and KPI design
    • 1 project lifecycle with SAP Analytics Cloud
    • Extensive experience with SAP technologies including HANA, Data Intelligence, Data Services, and Datasphere.
    • Strong understanding of Big Data concepts, technologies, and platforms.
    • Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
    • Lead the design and architecture of Big Data solutions, leveraging technologies such as SAP HANA, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Data Services.
    • Define and implement data ingestion, processing, and storage strategies for large-scale datasets in a Big Data environment.
    • Design and develop scalable data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources into SAP platforms.
    • Architect solutions using SAP Datasphere to enable real-time data integration, streaming analytics, and event-driven architectures.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Design and implement end-to-end analytics solutions encompassing data modeling, visualization, predictive analytics, and AI.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
    • Perform technical assessments, feasibility studies, and POCs to evaluate new technologies and solutions in the SAP ecosystem.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in Big Data, analytics, and SAP platforms, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Mentor junior team members, conduct knowledge sharing sessions, and contribute to the development of internal capabilities and expertise.
    • Extensive experience with SAP technologies including HANA, Data Intelligence, Data Services, and Datasphere.
    • Proficiency in designing and implementing SAC Embedded Analytics solutions.
    • Strong understanding of Big Data concepts, technologies, and platforms.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Proven track record of leading complex projects and delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Communication skills:
    strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written)


    • HANA data modeling experience
    • Architecting background on at least two full life cycle SAP reporting Implementations for medium to large projects of high complexity
    • Experience preparing functional specifications and skilled at converting the requirements into technical objects
    • Strong understanding and experience with at least two front-end reporting and analytical tools including Analysis for Office (AFO) and other tools (i.e. Power BI, SAC, etc.)

    General consulting skills, including:
    meeting facilitation skills, stakeholder assessment, and team collaboration


    • Experience leading teams of - 4 resources (including consulting onshore and offshore and client employees)
    • Minimum of 8+ experience within a Management or IT consulting firm preferred
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Should be a team player.
    • Should have excellent customer interaction skills
    • Should have worked in onsite offshore model
    • Flexibility in working hours
    • Define BI Architecture road maps driven by project initiatives
    • Develop, maintain and ensure adherence to standards for reporting and analysis tools and their appropriate application

    Technical Skills needed:

    The following skill sets would be a plus:

    • SAP functional experience in FI-CO, SD, MM, or PP
    • SAP Datasphere experience
    • Experience with migrations from on-premise to Cloud
    • Master Data Management (MDM/MDG)
    • Experience with other Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing ETL and OLAP technologies
    • Experience with SAP Data Services
    • SAP Analysis for Office.
    Travel


    • 100% US based travel
    • Monday - Thursday travel schedule expected
