    Summary

    The role of System Administrator is to define, configure, and monitor to protect our critical information, systems, and assets. They will also be responsible for implementation of new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy. These strategies will help to mitigate reoccurring issues while also implementation of new information technology processes throughout the company. Effective documentation of these processes is essential for collaboration within the department.

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities
    • Resolve daily IT assistance request tickets and troubleshoot end user problems.
    • Perform or facilitate onboarding tasks and training.
    • Manage end user supported technology (telephony, printers, and application software).
    • Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows/OSX systems.
    • Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.
    • Monitoring system performance.
    • Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups.
    • Implementation and troubleshooting of network resources.
    • Fosters a culture that values family, innovation, collaboration, and empowerment.
    • Follows all safety and workplace policies.
    Competencies and Skills
    • Proven work experience as a Windows Administrator is required.
    • Intermediate to advance knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
    • Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.
    • Working knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.
    • Excellent problem-solving and proactive solution-oriented skills.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to demonstrate and apply our workplace values.
    • Flexibilityto travel between multiple PD locations.
    • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
    Education/Certification
    • 2 Year Technical degree (required)
    • Microsoft and/or relatable certifications (preferred)
    Experience
    • 5 years of experience in related field
    Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
    • Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting may be required throughout the workday.
