    This Registered Nurse on our Postpartum Unit opportunity is full time, offers full benefits and a convenient schedule.

    This dynamic individual will under general supervision, nurses deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, in accordance with established philosophy.

    Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Nurses effectively interact with patient and significant others, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing.

    Mother-Baby Nurses educate and assist new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the postpartum period, while in the hospital setting.

    They perform the dual role of caring for the infants and educating mothers about care.
    Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment
    Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill. Integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
    Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients. Collaborates with the patient's designated care partner to meet the educational, physical,psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient.
