Description
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- You will be responsible for managing all purchase orders.
- You will be responsible for managing outside processing suppliers and component sourcing in a timely manner
- You will create all assigned purchase orders, heavy data entry duties.
- You will measure On Time Delivery for assigned suppliers address negative trends with applicable suppliers.
- Achieve cost savings/productivity and review open issues weekly.
- Be the purchasing point of contact for all issues with Outside Processing suppliers.
- Coordinate outside processing shipments and receipts with the Receiving Dept. daily. Notify the team of job completion and pickup availability.
- Responsible for updating Outside Processing information daily on the War Room board.
- Procure all needed supplies, tooling and services needed for daily plant operations.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by the reporting manager
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 35 years of experience in purchasing or related field
- Computer and system skills: proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office suite required, ERP software preferred
- Communication and Analytical skills: Must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical skills
Presentation skills preferred

- Experience Great Plain is a PLUS
