Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Telemetry Med-surg Adult is responsible for providing high-quality care to adult patients in a telemetry and medical-surgical setting.

This individual will be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare providers, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and telemetry readings
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

Current RN license in the state of practice
BLS and ACLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry and medicalsurgical nursing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
Critical thinking and problemsolving abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
