    Description
    Position at Grid Dynamics We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with an exceptional command of SQL queries and proficiency in handling data from our warehouse system. This role will be instrumental in filtering and processing data using specified parameters and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations by leveraging provided tools for PII handling. Responsibilities:
    • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from our data warehouse system.
    • Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines and workflows to ensure seamless data movement and transformation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement filters based on defined parameters.
    • Utilize provided tools for processing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in compliance with applicable regulations.
    • Enhance data quality by implementing robust validation and cleansing procedures.
    • Work closely with Data Scientists and Analysts to provide clean, structured datasets for analysis and reporting purposes.
    • Document data processes, methodologies, and best practices for future reference.
    Requirements:
    • Proven expertise in SQL query optimization and performance tuning for handling large datasets.
    • Strong experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from data warehouses or similar systems.
    • Familiarity with tools used for processing PII, adhering to data privacy and compliance regulations.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, R, etc.) for data manipulation and automation is advantageous.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Experience in implementing data governance practices and ensuring data quality.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
    • 3+ years of professional experience in a Data Engineering or similar role.
    • Certification in SQL or related technologies is a plus.
    • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable.
