    Production Supervisor

    Position Summary:

    This role is more than a Production Supervisor with Burma Love Foods, it is the opportunity to act as a brand ambassador for bridging cultures through food and beverage products. Take our patrons on a culinary adventure by making our packaged goods more accessible for a positive experience at home We are counting on you to be an extension of our brand.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Quality-check food & beverage products to ensure conformance with recipes and appearance standards
    • Assist the Production Manager to oversee kitchen staff and day-to-day kitchen operations
    • Assist the production line and packaging process, including deliveries and managing inventory
    • Maintain a clean & safe work employment for employees in compliance with safety and health regulations
    • Ensure team member training and adherence to compliance including food safety, OSHA, SOPs, HAACP, GMP's and all local, state, and federal laws
    • Organizes the inventory, storage, and distribution of foods and supplies
    • Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
    • Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
    • Recommend or execute personnel actions, such as hirings, evaluations, or promotions.

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to acquire a CA Food Handler Certification
    • California Driver's License, with a clean driving record
    • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
    • 3 years cooking experience
    • 1 year of experience managing a production line
    • Basic computer skills: excel, email, etc
    • Ability to work independently with attention to detail
    • Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines
    • Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
    • Desire to learn about the Natural Foods products space
    • GMP & HACCP Training
    • Fluency in Spanish
