    Client Overview: Established in 2001 with the mission to revolutionize golf apparel, we prioritize the player's needs to create top-notch products. Instead of aiming to outdo competitors, our designers challenge conventional ideas about golf attire. By combining innovative thinking with exclusive manufacturing methods, we produce the most advanced and adaptable apparel globally. Our primary focus throughout the process is on fit, performance, and playability.

    Role Overview: The Associate Designer holds a crucial position in the product lifecycle, contributing from initial concepts to final execution. Working on golf apparel, sportswear, and activewear collections, this role is guided by the Senior Designer and Creative Director.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop flat sketches for various apparel categories, including cut+sew knits, wovens, outerwear, sweaters, and bottoms.
    • Ensure tech packs are comprehensive, covering all design elements, fabric information, and trim details.
    • Enter data into the Gerber Yunique PLM system.
    • Oversee and coordinate fabric selection for each seasonal collection.
    • Collaborate with international mills, factories, and offices.
    • Coordinate lab-dip and trim reviews, maintaining efficient communication and organization.
    • Adhere to deadlines as per the T&A calendar.
    • Maintain detailed records of design development, including colors, prints, trims, and reference materials.
    • Prepare for presentations, compile boards, arrange proto reviews, and participate in meetings.
    • Attend all fittings as necessary.
    • Conduct market research by visiting stores to discover new trends and styles.
    • Study competitors in the golf and golf lifestyle sectors.

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, design-oriented, and innovative setting.
    • Capability to utilize feedback effectively to improve the design process.
    • Understanding of apparel product development procedures.
    • Familiarity with garment components and construction.
    • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Gerber Yunique PLM, and Microsoft Office applications.
    • 2-3 years of experience in a design or product development team.
    • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design.
