    General Summary:
    We are looking for an Instructional Designer to create engaging online content for military electronics training. This position, based in Orlando, Florida, requires strong writing and collaboration abilities with no need for travel or security clearance.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
    - Develop an Instructional Media Design Package (IMDP) following MIL HDBK 29612 standards.
    - Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to craft comprehensive training material.
    - Design user interfaces for online learning modules.
    - Coordinate media and programming requirements for developers.
    - Produce detailed storyboards for Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI).
    - Engage in customer meetings to integrate feedback.
    - Ensure timely completion and submission of contract deliverables.

    Job Specifications:

    Basic Qualifications:
    - U.S. Person status required.
    - Proficiency in creating learning objectives, content outlines, and lesson storyboards.
    - Ability to translate Technical Manuals content into training materials.
    - Basic graphic editing skills like cropping and resizing.
    - Capability to develop knowledge-based tests and performance assessments for online training.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    - Previous experience in creating an Instructional Media Design Package (IMDP).
    - Expertise in designing IMI Level 2 and IMI Level 3 courseware for military projects.
    - Proficiency in interface design and development.
    - Experience with DoD contract requirements.

    Education/Experience:
    - Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field (mandatory).
    - MA degree in Instructional Systems (preferred).
    - 5 years of experience (preferred, open to all experience levels).
    - Technical Writing background is beneficial.

    Computer Skills:
    - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (mandatory).
    - Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud apps (preferred).
    - Familiarity with Adobe Captivate software (preferred).
    - Knowledge of Microsoft Teams (preferred).

    Work Environment:

    The work setting includes a quiet environment, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts.
