The CH-47 Mechanic AM-2 (A&P or FCC) will be responsible for performing maintenance and inspections on CH-47 systems, ensuring they meet FAA standards.

This position will be located in Morris, IN and will require full-time work at the Illesheim base in Berlin, Germany.


The primary expertise for this role is as a CH-47 mechanic, with a focus on repair and modification of various Army and other DoD cross-service aircraft, including major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, and related systems.

The mechanic will also be responsible for installing, connecting, and adjusting complete systems such as fuel, heat, lubrication, hydraulic, engine, and transmission.

This includes installing and aligning fuselage parts, balancing and aligning tail rotor assemblies, and rigging complete flight control systems.


The mechanic will also be responsible for incorporating authorized modifications and changes, as well as conducting operational checks of hydraulic and fuel systems using external power sources and powered ground equipment.

In the event of malfunctions, the mechanic will troubleshoot and determine the cause, and then make necessary adjustments, repairs, realignments, or replacements.


Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as at least five years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience.

FAA A&P or FCC Elements 1 and 3 are required, along with at least two years of
