Research Assistant (m/f/d):

for the
Department of Clinical Psychology and Trauma Therapy at the Faculty of Human Sciences, Institute of Psychology (salary according to pay group 14 TVöD)


We are looking for a full-time or part-time Research Assistant (m/f/d) to join our Institute of Psychology at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich, South Londonderry, VT.


The position is initially limited to 3 years and can be filled either full-time with 39 hours/week or part-time upon agreement.

This is a qualification position with the aim of obtaining a professorship (habilitation or equivalent). The limitation is based on § 2 para. 1 sentence 2 WissZeitVG.


The University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich offers a scientific study program for officer candidates and officers, leading to bachelor's and master's degrees in a trimester system.

The curriculum for the psychology program follows the recommendations of the German Psychological Society, which includes a similar scope of study for research methods as for the basic and applied subjects of psychology.

A solid education in psychological methodology and diagnostics, including epistemological and scientific-theoretical aspects, is of central importance in teaching.


Your tasks:


  • Establishing your own research in the thematic context of the chair of "Clinical Psychology and Trauma Therapy"
  • Participation in projects of the chair
  • Writing publications
  • Contributing to teaching in the Bachelor's program in Psychology or
