    Milian, Swain & Associates, Inc ("MSA"). has been providing professional Civil, Environmental engineering and Utility management consulting services since 1989 to private and public sector clients in South Florida. We are currently seeking a Project Engineer for our Miami office. Applicants MUST have the following qualifications and experience to be considered:

    Required Qualifications Experience

    • Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited college/university.
    • State of Florida Engineer Intern (E.I.T.) required, Florida P.E. license preferred
    • Civil Engineer with 4 - 6 years minimum experience in design of civil infrastructure systems (Water & Wastewater Distribution, Collection, Transmission, Pumping Systems, Paving, Grading & Drainage Systems) for private and public sector clients; preferably in South Florida.
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills required.
    • Extensive knowledge of the Civil Infrastructure regulatory and approval process in South Florida

    General Duties:

    • Responsible for the design of civil infrastructure systems for private and public sector projects.
    • Technical supervision of CAD technician(s)
    • Preparation of construction drawings and specifications, cost estimating
    • Preparation of technical reports
    • Analysis and design of civil infrastructure systems using applicable design software programs, regulatory standards
    • Participation during the permitting and construction phases of all projects assigned.
