    Diversity Statement
    The University of South Carolina Union is seeking applications for a 9-month, full-time Instructor of Psychology.

    Teaching Requirements
    - Conducting face-to-face and distance education
    - Possibly teaching evening and/or weekend classes
    - Teaching dual-enrollment classes at USC Union campus and affiliated high schools
    - Strong dedication to undergraduate teaching
    - Involvement in university and community service
    - Teaching introductory and upper-level psychology courses

    About USC Union
    Located in Union, South Carolina, USC Union is a two-year public university associated with the University of South Carolina System. The institution focuses on providing quality education to around 1300 students. USC Union offers Associate of Arts/Science degrees and baccalaureate programs through Palmetto College.

    Responsibilities
    - Teaching assigned classes under supervision
    - Helping students excel in course content
    - Teaching five courses per semester
    - Staying current in the teaching field
    - Using technology effectively
    - Serving on college committees and faculty governance
    - Participating in student activities

    Requirements
    Candidates must have a master's degree in psychology from an accredited university. They should demonstrate a commitment to teaching, engagement with the community, and strong communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Preference given to candidates with university-level teaching experience and eligibility to teach related subjects.
