    Job SummaryResponsible for the performance of timely, accurate, quality clinical laboratory tests and basic clinical laboratory functionsAppropriate specimen collection, handling, processing and corresponding orders for diagnostic testingPerformance and appropriate documentation of diagnostic testingPerformance and interpretation of quality control/calibration and participation in all quality assessment/improvement activitiesPerform maintenance, calibrations and function checksDemonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in this laboratoryCandidates for this position must have availability to pick up variable day shifts, call and weekendsEducationAssociate's degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school as an MLT or CLT required,
