If you are interested in scientific questions and enjoy both practical and theoretical work in a chemistry laboratory, then an apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory technician is just right for you.

During the apprenticeship, you will work largely independently within a team. Your tasks will include the practical preparation and execution of experiments, as well as their observation and evaluation. Additionally, you will conduct analyses and chemical investigations, document work steps and measurement data.


Training focuses include:

  • Working in the laboratory on research projects
  • Producing substances and preparations, operating experimental systems
  • Analyzing finished products and by-products chemically and physicochemically
  • Testing auxiliary materials and intermediate products for application
