Responsible for the expeditious and accurate performance and reporting of clinical laboratory tests, record keeping, preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and procedures
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Medical Lab Technician:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school requiredStarting Wage of $24 per hourMedical Technologist/
Medial Lab Scientist:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a 4-year degree program requireStarting Wage of $31 per hourAdditional compensation considered for all positions based on experienceCERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or
REGISTRATIONS:
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Technologist (MT), or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) Certificate or other verifying documentation of passing the certification test is requiredCurrent CPR certification or completion upon next available program is required
SCHEDULE:
Full-time (72 hours per pay period) with rotating shifts along with rotating night, holiday, and weekend call
